- 1. Collected Information
- Daejeon Contents Fair collects personal information on the following items.
- - Required Information : Name of representative, Name of contact person, Department/Position, Phone number &E-mail Address of contact person
- - Optional information : Phone number &E-mail Address of representative
- 2. Purpose of collecting personal information
- Daejeon Contents Fair collects personal information provided for the following reasons.
- - Application for Daejeon Content Fair
- 3. Personal Information Retention Period
- 1. Personal Information as above will be retained until the end of the event after the submission of personal information.
- 2.When the retention period is out of date or if you request to delete, 'Daejeon Contents Fair' immediately destroys personal information in a way that cannot be used.
Agreed to the terms and conditions of participating companies
- (Article 1) Definition of Terms
- 1. “Exhibitor” refers to the person, company, institution or group, which has completed the payment under the stipulated contract for taking a stand at this Exhibition
- 2. “Exhibition” refers to Daejeon Contents Fair 2024.
- 3. “Organizer” refers to Daejeon Tourism Organization.
- (Article 2) Exhibition Application and Agreement
- 1. The one who wish to participate the exhibition shall fill the application form, receive approval from the organizer and pay 100% of the total participation fee by bank transfer one week after application.
- 2. After the application registration form being submitted, if the organizer refuses to approve for haymonious constitution and operation of the
exhibition, the agreement is not effected.
- (Article 3) Assignment of Exhibition Booth
- 1. Organizer has all rights to the booth assignment and Exhibitor may not object to the decision made. According to application and payment order, booth will be assigned considering country, item, size, exhibition results and other reasonable matters.
- 2. The organizer may change the attocated booth location in case the organizer acknowledges the necessity considering spacing harmony, viewing efficiency and exhibition effectiveness. Such change is under discretion of the organizer, and the exhibitorshall not object on the decision.
- (Article 4) Exhibition management
- 1. Exhibitor shall display the items Listed in the application and have someone to take Care of the booth at all times.
- 2. If the Exhibitor displays items not listed in the application or if displayed item does not fit the nature of the exhibition or conducts direct sales without approval, from the Organizer, Organizer can request to stop, withdrawal or dismantle. In this case, participation fee is not refundable and Exhibitor cannot ask for compensation
- 3. Exhibitor cannot use other area for the exhibit without prior approval from Organizer.
- 4. The Exhibitor cannot assign the contract, sub-let or part with his site or
stand or any portion of it without prior written consent from the Organizer,
If the Exhibitor breaches this term, exhibition can be cancelled and the fee
will not be subject to refund.
- 5. For any damages that cannot be returned into original statement such as painting the floor/ceiling/wall, Exhibitor is liable for any reasonable.
Compensation requested by Organizer regarding the restoration.
- (Article 5) Payment
- 1. 1. The application and contract shall be submitted to the organizer, and the full amount of the participation fee (booth cost) shall be paid as a down payment within 15 days after the application for participation and submission of the contract. For early applicants, the down payment (full amount of booth cost) must be paid in full to the designated account by August 31, 2024 for early applicants. Ordinary applicants must pay in full to the designated account by September 30, 2024.
- 2. If the Exhibitor does not pay the exhibition fee within the designated period, 15 days notice will be given to make the payment and still if the payment is not made, Organizer has the right to cancel the exhibiton contract. In this case, Exhibitor is not entitled to refund.
- (Article 6) Termination of the Agreement (Exhibition Cancellation) and Penalty
- 1. In case the exhibitor cancels or refuses the whole or partial space which is already registered due to own reason, the exhibitor shall inform the organizer in document.
- 2. Penalty is deducted from the paid exhibition fee, if not sufficient, the exhibitor shall pay the addition, and if surplus, the balance will be returned. Charges are subject to be paid as follows.
- (Article 7) Cancellation of Exhibition or Alteration
- In the event of cancellation or date change of the exhibition due to irresistible force or other causes not resulting from the Organizer, already paid exhibition fee will not be refunded and Exhibitor may not ask for compensation.
- (Article 8) Display of items
- The installation and removal of the exhibits and booths must be completed by the date and tims stipulated by organizer. Exhibitors shall indemnify the organizer against any loss that may be caused by delay or damage to the Exhibition hall.
- (Article 9) intellectual property rights
- Participating companies must respect the intellectual property rights of the organizer. Participating companies are not allowed to display, sell, or trade counterfeit or registered trademarks, copyrights, or patents, as well as products that infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties. The participating company guarantees that the names, logos, works of art and other content creators or their agents used in the advertisements, publications or homepages he produces, as well as in all media, will not infringe any intellectual property rights of all third parties. In addition, the participating company's products and exhibits do not contain defamation, as well as obscene, vulgar, desecrating or illegal content. Participating companies intentionally involved in unauthorized counterfeiting or infringement may be ordered to remove and take out all exhibits immediately, and they may not participate in future exhibitions. However, this provision does not impose any legal or moral obligation for the organizer to take action. The Organizer shall not be liable for any infringement of intellectual property rights made by the Participating Company.
- (Article 10) Installation and Demolition
- 1. An exhibitor shall complete the bring-in and display of devices and exhibits within the allocated exhibition area. If it is inevitable to use outside of hours during the installation period, the exhibitor shall pay the fee for the use outside of hours to the organizer after obtaining permission from the organizer. - (Article 11) Security and Safety
- 1. The Organizer reserves the rights to modify at any time the provisions of the present Rules & Regulation, the Exhibitors shall comply with the modification.
- 2. The Exhibitors must comply with the regulations of Daejeon Convention Center.
- (Article 12) Fire Safety
- 1. All materials and items must be fire resistant according to the safety regulations.
- (Article 13) Amendment
- 1. The Organizer reserves the rights to modify at any time the provisions of the present Rules & Regulation.
- 2. The Exhibitors shall comply with the modification.
- 3. The Exhibitors must comply with the regulations of Daejeon Convention Center.
- (Article 14) Disputes
- 1. In any disputes that may arise cincerning interpretation of the present terms & Conditions, the Exhibitor agree to the competence of the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board and shall not bring a law-suit against the ruling.
- 2. The organizer may, if necessary, request the exhibitor to correct the fire prevention, and the exhibitor shall immediately implement such corrective measures.
